Buena Vista Street
Opening for Shopping and Dining
Along with the currently open Downtown Disney shops and
restaurants, our Disney neighbor is opening Buena Vista Street in California
Adventure. This “main street” of California Adventure will reopen in November
as an extension of the Downtown Disney District. Downtown Disney began welcoming
guests to the outdoor walkway with shops and restaurants in July, but the Theme
Parks remain closed.
Security is very
visible to those who visit Downtown Disney with several checkpoints including
temperature check, a dog check, bag check and metal detector. Handwashing
stations and hand sanitizer have been added at several locations throughout the
Downtown Disney area.
We recommend making reservations for lunch or dinner for any
of the Dining experiences in Downtown Disney ahead of your visit. It is also a
good idea to add yourself to the waiting list at Marceline’s to get one of the
famous Caramel Apples or other Disney-inspired sweet treats. This wait list can
be a couple of hours.
As the closest open hotel to the entrance to Downtown
Disney, guests of Eden Roc Anaheim are able to easily park and walk to
the Magic of Downtown Disney. A short walk along the tree-lined Disney Drive
(West St.) will help you skip the traffic lines in the Disney parking and allow
