Buena Vista Street Opening for Shopping and Dining

Buena Vista Street Opening for Shopping and Dining

Along with the currently open Downtown Disney shops and restaurants, our Disney neighbor is opening Buena Vista Street in California Adventure. This “main street” of California Adventure will reopen in November as an extension of the Downtown Disney District. Downtown Disney began welcoming guests to the outdoor walkway with shops and restaurants in July, but the Theme Parks remain closed.

Security is very visible to those who visit Downtown Disney with several checkpoints including temperature check, a dog check, bag check and metal detector. Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer have been added at several locations throughout the Downtown Disney area.

We recommend making reservations for lunch or dinner for any of the Dining experiences in Downtown Disney ahead of your visit. It is also a good idea to add yourself to the waiting list at Marceline’s to get one of the famous Caramel Apples or other Disney-inspired sweet treats. This wait list can be a couple of hours.

As the closest open hotel to the entrance to Downtown Disney, guests of Eden Roc Anaheim are able to easily park and walk to the Magic of Downtown Disney. A short walk along the tree-lined Disney Drive (West St.) will help you skip the traffic lines in the Disney parking and allow you an easy way to enjoy the Disney experience once again! www.edenrocanaheim.com

Eden Roc Anaheim has implemented extra hygiene measures for the safety of guests and staff including plexiglass at the front desk, social distancing markers and electrostatic sprayers with an extra dose of sanitization. Our duty of care is outlined in our website at www.edenrocanaheim.com

Outdoor activity in Anaheim will be even better with this expanded Downtown Disney option!

DISNEYLAND REOPENING - JULY 17

All of Anaheim was thrilled to hear of Disneyland Resort’s proposed plan for phased reopening in Southern California!

The Downtown Disney District is scheduled to reopen on July 9th. Individual restaurants and shops will follow new protocols for safety. The following week, on July 17th, Disneyland and California Adventure Parks are due to reopen. Details on capacity and methods for crowd control and line management have yet to be announced, but excitement and anticipation of our Magical neighbor is in the Air!

Eden Roc Anaheim never closed and continued to welcome essential travelers and took the opportunity to enhance hygiene and housekeeping protocols for the safety of guests and staff. New plexiglass allows a physical barrie, and you can still see our smiles behind our masks when we welcome you with contact-less Check-in and sanitization stations.
